Bruins 92-93 season replay, LA game 5

Game 5 Boston @ Los Angeles

BOS 1-1-1-1=4 LAK 1-1-1-0=3

The next stop on the road trip was the Kings. The home team wasted no time in getting one by Moog as Kurri scored just over 2 minutes in. Defenseman Gord Murphy would tie it midway through the period for the B's and that's how the first 20 minutes ended.

In the 2nd Juneau put the Bruins up early, but an unassisted powerplay goal by Donnelly had the game tied at 2-2.

The final period saw another early goal as Robitaille put the home team up 3-2, with assists going to defensemen Coffey and Blake. Juneau's 2nd of the game with 3:55 left got Boston the equalizer, despite to being held to just 7 shots in that third period.

So we had our first OT game of the season. In bonus hockey it was all Boston. They outshot the Kings 5-0. And it was unlikely here defenseman David Shaw who blasted the puck past Stauber for the Boston win.
